Is that how these things are supposed to start?? (Tapping Microphone) Testing?? Testing?  Is this thing on?

The land of the Blog- I have for a long time thought- this might be my calling a Blogger- Usually- its about 2am on a Sunday morning- after last call- when my most profound thoughts come to me, and then the next morning I sober up and can never remember my most amazing get rich ideas?

Well needless to say- a little about me I am a single female teacher- I grew up in the North East and now live and teach in the South for Demographic purposes. Although, for tax purposes- You can claim me as a charity 501c- You can send all checks here to me. Since I was "fortunate" to acquire a teaching job in the south since it is not unionized. "Fortunate" like I won the powerball. (I clearly use the term loosely.) I daily walk into my "Lovely" classroom, and the first thing I see is a poster- we must all display proudly. What your starting salary is should you not graduate high school, earn a GED, earn a high school diploma, earn an Associates Degree, Bachelors- so on and so forth. Today I had officially had it looking at that bull shit poster- that I see smiling at my face every Monday through Friday at 6:45am. Yes, I have a Masters Degree- and my starting pay according to that post is clearly not what I make. With my Masters Degree- I make less than what the poster states for starting salary with earning an Associates. And my daily question to myself is, "WHY???"

Shit students ask me that on the reg- why would I want to be a teacher? When I make more money selling drugs daily than you do in a month. And you know thats a really great question. Because Lord knows your kin voted the dumb ass in the white house for another 4 years. I'll save that rant for another day.

How did I come up with F+ you might ask- well that's another great question. I had a student ask me if on their test I could write a + next to their F. Because well, a 69.4 is a + on the damn grading scale. I just looked at the student as though they had just landed on this planet and really wanted to write. Are you FUCKING kidding me? Has the system of Just gotten this far off the scale that we now have to write an F+ on a test??? For positive motivation. I keep telling anyone who will listen society is in for a treat.

No and your next question I'm sure- LADY How old are you?? Let's put it this way Generationally I one generation removed from the students I teach, and shellshocked. I teach middle school and the next question what grade- all of them 6-8. I have taught high school previously so I have run the spectrum.

Now I'm sure the next question is well the test must have been hard for this child to really want that plus. Ha nice try- it was open book, open note, could work with other students, and given a word bank. The only thing I didn't give the students was the answer key that I created that was word for word from the information that was provided. Now you next question, maybe they weren't there to take the notes for left their book at home. SAVE IT. Each student is given a copy of the class notes at the beginning of the chapter- to keep in their folder that never leaves the classroom. Along with a copy of the textbook that stays in the classroom. Any student that has a modification for APP, ALD, any acroynm of disorder- every student gets that same accomodation. And Yes, I'll still get an email from mommy wanting to know why "Tucker" is failing, because he studied real hard. No bitch, I draw the line at taking a test for your kid.

So this should answer your one of many questions as to why I will go by F+ Teacher.
